We’ll meet you at Bogotá’s El Dorado Airport and transfer you to your hotel so you can rest and begin acclimatizing to the altitude. Our mechanic will be on hand to assemble and fine-tune your bike. In the evening we’ll gather for a welcome briefing to meet the team and go over the details of the tour, followed by a special welcome dinner — good food, new friends and the excitement of the days ahead.

60 km / 850 m ascent We’ll start with an easy ride just outside Bogotá, designed to help you adjust to the altitude while enjoying the classic scenery of the Andean savanna. After a hearty lunch we’ll head into the city to visit Monserrate, Bogotá’s iconic mountain viewpoint with sweeping city panoramas. After a restorative lunch, we will head to the heart of Bogotá to climb Monserrate, one of Bogotá's most emblematic landmarks, from where you'll enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view of the entire cityBack down, we’ll stroll through colonial streets full of street art and history, then end the day with a private Colombian coffee tasting — sample beans from different regions, learn about flavor profiles and brewing methods, and dive into the country’s coffee culture. 52 km / 750 m ascent We begin the day cycling towards one of Egan Bernal's favorite mountain passes, the same one he's used for training in his hometown. It will be a somewhat challenging but inspiring climb, surrounded by green mountains and a unique cycling atmosphere, ideal for further strengthening your legs and acclimatizing to the altitude. After lunch we’ll visit the famous Salt Cathedral of Zipaquirá — a stunning underground cathedral built inside a former salt mine. A day that blends effort, culture, and wonder, preparing you for the great mountains to come. We end the day with a special dinner to recharge your batteries before the big trek into the mountains. 125 km / 1.200 m ascent Leaving Bogotá’s altitude behind, we’ll descend into warmer lands. After a short vehicle transfer out of the city, our unforgettable ride takes us to Honda, a charming colonial town on the Magdalena River. The route is as varied as it is fascinating: for much of the journey, we cycle through the Magdalena River valley, surrounded by mountains, tropical vegetation, and rural villages that reveal another side of Colombia. The transition from cool to humid heat makes this stage a unique experience, both physically and sensorially. In the afternoon, we will explore the colonial streets of Honda on foot, cross its historic bridges, and take a local food tour, tasting the delicious and diverse fruits that the region has to offer. To end the day, we will share a comforting dinner and have a technical briefing with all the details of the great challenge that awaits us the next day: the ascent to the mythical Alto de Letras. 60 km · 1,960 m ascent The big day has arrived! After breakfast and a 1.5-hour car transfer, our cycling adventure begins towards one of the highest accessible points in Colombia. We start our ride in a colorful village located at the foot of the majestic Nevado del Ruiz volcano, offering you the opportunity to enjoy breathtaking views and capture unforgettable photographs. The journey continues towards one of Colombia's most spectacular landscapes: Los Nevados National Natural Park. Here, you'll traverse a breathtaking valley of frailejones, a unique vegetation that plays a crucial role in water generation. This magical environment will allow you to see several snow-capped peaks, weather permitting, and you'll literally be cycling among the clouds, surrounded by a natural beauty that few have the privilege of experiencing. Throughout the day, our team will be by your side to ensure you have everything you need: support, balanced meals, constant hydration, and of course, all the encouragement you need! 30 km / 900 m ascent Today we'll begin our ride up the most cycled mountain pass in the world according to Strava, a classic that every cyclist should experience and conquer at least once in their life. This climb, nestled in the eastern hills of Bogotá, combines the vibrant atmosphere of local cycling with verdant landscapes and unique views of the city. We cycled through the mountains surrounding Bogotá, where the landscapes become epic and the atmosphere changes completely in just a few minutes: from the bustling city, we ventured into an environment of vibrant greens and roads that seem to breathe cycling. It was a short, somewhat demanding, but profoundly rewarding route, perfect for ending the experience with high spirits and broad smiles, carrying with you the memory of having ridden on a legendary road. After the ride, we'll enjoy a delicious lunch in one of the city's most unique areas, perfect for savoring the diverse cuisine from different regions of the country, where you can choose the one that best suits your taste. The afternoon will be free for everyone to explore Bogotá at their own pace, and in the evening we'll meet again for a farewell dinner, celebrating together the epic end to an adventure that will be forever etched in our legs… and in our memories.
